Description: Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is looking for a Modeling and Simulation engineer with missile modeling experience to work on the premier missile defense system currently saving lives around the world.
This program is part of our Air and Missile Defense portfolio at our Missiles and Fire Control location in Grand Prairie, TX, a world leader in missile defense systems. Create, modify and integrate models in a high-fidelity 6-DOF simulation. Apply your strong understanding of missile systems to analyze simulation results and evaluate system characteristics and performance. Help our nation's front-line defense system stay ahead of constantly evolving threats.
This position requires an active Secret clearance. Proficiency in Fortran and C++ are desirable.

The Locale: Grand Prairie is part of the “Mid-Cities” region in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex which is in the North Central region of Texas. Grand Prairie is a suburb of both Dallas and Fort Worth. The region offers a great cost of living combined with a robust economy and a pleasant climate. This North Central region of Texas is a great place to live and to raise a family. The region is home to numerous colleges and universities to include University of Texas at Dallas, University of Texas at Arlington, University of North Texas, Southern Methodist University, and Texas Woman's University. Must have strong programming skills and an active Secret clearance.
Strong understanding of missiles simulation and performance.
Experience with Fortran, C++ and Ada.
Experience with simulation configuration management and unit testing.
