Lockheed Martin Cyber Software Test Engineer in Herndon, Virginia
Description: Lockheed Martin’s Cyber Development Team in Herndon, Virginia is looking for an experienced systems integration and test engineer to support new capabilities as well as enhancing/maintaining existing capabilities. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated and strong in multiple aspects and methodologies of software testing (web, backend, client/server, black box, grey box, etc), as well as software development methodologies. The Test Engineer will be expected to test across multiple platforms, such as Windows and Linux and work independently to determine and develop innovative approaches to assess and validate requirement compliance, performance and scalability goals. The Software Test Engineer should have an active TS/SCI clearance and have a familiarity with Cyber, Vulnerability Research, Networking, Firmware, Python, SQL, Unix/Linux, Virtual Machines, Windows, and Mobile and/or Embedded platforms.
-Knowledge of software development methodologies
-Excelled oral and written skills.
-Applicant must be capable of obtaining Secret security clearance.
• Experience with Python scripting language
• Experienced working in a Linux environment
• Experienced with Windows Visual Studio
• Knowledge in SQL Server
• Development experience with scripting languages
