Lockheed Martin Software Engineer - Avionics Test Stands, Linux, C/C++ in Hill Air Force Base, Utah
Description: Assist OO-ALC with the software development and maintenance for F-16 Operational Flight Program (OFP) Common Modular Environment (COMET) avionics test stands and OFP testing tools in the Avionics Integration Support Facility (AISF) at Hill AFB, Utah. Design, develop, document, test, debug, and maintain software used to test OFPs on hardware test stands and in a virtual environment.
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or technical related discipline.
knowledge of one or more of the following: Unix/Linux System Services, C/C++ Software Development, Object Oriented Design (OOD), Weapons Systems knowledge, and Avionics Modeling / Weapon Simulation modeling.
Knowledge of Operating Systems such as Sun Solaris, Linux, VxWorks (VxSim), and Windows
COMET Automated Test Language (ATL), COMET Configuration Management (CM), and Inter-Range Instrumentation Group (IRIG) Chapter-10 Data Recording Standard.
F-16 aircraft avionics familiarity.
GTK software development tools, Multi-threading, and Inter-Process Communication (IPC) knowledge.
Familiarity with the 194 bus protocol.
