Lockheed Martin Assistant Program Manager (APM) in Huntsville, Alabama

Description: Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is seeking an Assistant Program Manager (APM) for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) THAAD program. This position is located in either Huntsville, AL or Grand Prairie, TX.

The KSA THAAD APM will support the KSA THAAD Sr. Program Manager with responsibility for integration of the KSA THAAD program across multiple contracts, support multiple ongoing proposal efforts, and interact with the KSA Localization team. The KSA THAAD APM will coordinate with the US Missile Defense Agency (MDA) customer, the KSA Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces (RSADF) customer, Lockheed Martin senior management, and all Lockheed Martin functional areas. This position requires demonstrated superior program and project management skills as well as the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Some CONUS and OCONUS travel is required for the position.

Basic Qualifications:

Must have an active Secret clearance

Program / project management experience

Proposal experience

Experience working with military customers

Demonstrated excellent team building and interpersonal skills

Demonstrated superior program and project management skills as well as the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

Demonstrated full spectrum leader – ability to shape the future, energize the team, deliver results, build effective relationships and be accountable with high integrity and ethics

Ability to travel

Desired Skills:

Knowledge of air and missile defense systems, processes, and personnel

Experience leading cross-functional teams

Experience managing large, complex programs with elements of development, production, and post-production

Experience with foreign military sales (FMS) programs

Knowledge of UTIAMD Programs and the THAAD system

Engineering / Technical or Business related degree

Existing business relationships with MDA personnel

Experience leading cross-functional teams

Engineering / Technical or Business related degree
