Lockheed Martin Contracts Manager in Huntsville, Alabama
Description: Contracts Negotiation Manager will provide contracts leadership for Air Force Programs and Missile Defense Programs.
-Advisor to Program Management and Senior Contracts Leadership on Government and International contracting issues.
-Coordinates and consults with legal staff as appropriate.
-Plays a key role in shaping the future of Lockheed Martin through capturing follow-on and new business as well as developing leaders within the organization.
-Collaboration-minded leader with an understanding of how negotiation strategy impacts both Lockheed Martin and the customer. Significant successful experience in building and managing a staff.
This person must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance. US Citizenship is required.
Bachelors degree from an accredited college, or equivalent years of experience within the field in lieu of a degree, with professional experience.
Must have or be able to obtain a security clearance.
10 years or more of professional experience.
Experience in all aspects of the contract life cycle including proposals, administration, and close-out.
Proficient in the FAR and DFARS.
Must be able to coordinate DCAA and DCMA activities including audits and performance based payment plans.
Must be available to travel up to 25%.
Proposal Capture experience.
Virtual team management experience.
