Software Engineer to support Software Item (SI) development and integration for the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Fire Control and Communications (TFCC) within the Ground component. Candidate must have some understanding of Command and Control software and software development practices. Candidate will perform software development tasks, including software requirements definition, software design, code, unit test and integration testing. Candidate will also support the coordination of software builds. Candidate will perform tasks in accordance with program and Lockheed Martin software command media. The candidate must coordinate with other groups within Ground Systems to ensure a successful implementation of the software. The candidate must ensure adherence to master plans and schedules. Candidate will be responsible for implementing software fixes and developing new capabilities as required.
Typically has 5 - 10 years of professional experience.

-Experience with coding or scripting and the UNIX (Linux or Solaris) Operating Systems
-Understanding of software development practices
-Good interpersonal skills and good communication skills, both written and oral
- Must have a secret clearance
Apex experience, Ada or C++ experience, CompTIA Security+ is desired.
Experience with Hardware/Software integration and troubleshooting complex issues.
System Administration, Firewall configuration, and Scripting.
Adept at using Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) and Risk Management Framework (RMF) Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) Compliance to develop security solutions.
