Lockheed Martin Systems Engineer Sr/DOORS lead for THAAD GSD in Huntsville, Alabama

Based in Huntsville, Alabama, the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Ground Systems Development (GSD) DOORS lead will be the focal for DOORS updates and scripting in addition to Systems Engineering requirements development and verification support. Day to day, this position reports to the THAAD Grounds Systems Requirements Lead for development, maintenance, and publication of THAAD Fire Control and Communications (TFCC), Launcher, and/or Support Equipment requirement specifications.
This position requires you to quickly become a proficient independent contributor with the Ground Systems Development DOORS database and apply systems engineering change control process to maintain control of the GSD requirements. You will develop and maintain DXL scripts and Rational Publishing Engine scripts for producing documents and reports from the DOORS database. Additionally, you will utilize Clear Case and Clear Quest to implement change control of the DOORS database.
Typically has 2 - 5 years of professional experience. Considered career, or journey, level.

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
• Systems Engineering Experience
• Experience with DOORS or similar tool for requirements management, decomposition and publication
• Missile Defense or aerospace experience in requirements and verification of command and control systems
• 3-5+ years of professional experience in a related position
• Experience with DXL script modification and development
• Experience with Clear Case/Clear Quest
• Ability to define and document solutions to complex problems and to convey solutions to both senior management and to hardware/software implementation teams
