Lockheed Martin Systems Engineer in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania

Description: Within LM Space, the Sequoia program is looking for a highly motivated individual to join the Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (SEIT) team. This exciting position will fill a critical need in the new and emerging area of protecting space assets. This position requires a system engineer who likes working in all areas of system engineering, integration and test. The candidate should have experience in areas such as updating architecture diagrams, interface control documents, requirements, creating detailed test plans and procedures, collaborating in test working groups, defect reporting and requirement verification best practices.

As part of an agile scrum team, the candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks in various areas across the mission, collaborating with the development teams, contractors, customers, and subject matter experts. The candidate will also work closely with the System Integration & Test Manager and SEIT lead to support Customer design reviews, test readiness reviews, test events, and final test reports.

This position provides the opportunity to be a part of the entire system engineering lifecycle, where the candidate will be able to apply their systems engineering, integration and test skills at the lowest level all the way up through full system functionality. Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of systems engineering, integration and/or test engineering experience

• Outstanding teamwork and communications skills

• Active TS/SCI security clearance

• Must be able to obtain program access

Desired Skills:

• Experience working on an Agile scrum team

• Experience using Agile tools (Jira, Version One)

• Prior Scrum master experience

• Test automation experience
