Lockheed Martin F-35 Depot Sustainment Material Handler in Layton, Utah
Description: F-35 Depot Support & Kitting representative will provide technical services for supply operations supporting component repair kitting for F-35 aircraft at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. These tasks include shipping/receiving activities, loading/unloading transportation vehicles, inventorying parts, validating kits per Bill of Material (BOM) and monitoring stock levels required to support Depot component repair kits. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing the onsite Field Service Representative (FSR) kit/parts status, assisting with part number verification, responding to customer requests for mission support, assisting with shelf-life, electrostatic discharge (ESD) identification, kit turn-ins, kit deliveries, and preforming/conducting inventory cycle counts. Position will be responsible for providing shift status information, weekly status reports, and notifications of any issues to the onsite FSR, and provide timely notifications of any major or recurring problems to the FTO Site Manager. Position will require the immediate response to field MICAP requirements. The ideal candidate must have the ability to work independently, must be a self-starter and possess strong leadership skills, and must be able to communicate effectively with peers, customers, and senior management. Other duties as assigned.
*Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
5 Years of combined experience in supply chain management, material control, receiving, inventory, monitoring stock, and kit management to support high volume depot operations.
-Valid Driver’s License
-Current UDOT Medical Certification to drive vehicles over 10,001 GVW and under 26,000 GVW
-Daily requirement to lift up to 40 pounds
-Requires individual to stand & walk for extended periods of time
-Current, active, USG security clearance: Secret Level
-Proficient in and working knowledge of SAP operation at warehouse level access
-Proficiency with MS Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and Word
-Working knowledge of F-35 weapon system support
