Lockheed Martin Subcontract Management Senior - Federal Acquisition in Lexington, Kentucky
This position will provide experienced support within Global Supply Chain Management for multiple programs. The SCM will be responsible for the management of supplier cost, schedule and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk subcontracts, both domestic and international. The position will hold procurement delegation and will be responsible for the development of subcontract specifications, statements of work, subcontract cost estimate activities, price analyses, supplier selection and negotiation of price and terms and conditions. The SCM will be responsible for managing supplier performance, cost, closeout activities and meeting contractual deliverables. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, which manages the subcontract from inception through final closure.
Basic Qualifications Successful candidate must have previous Subcontracting experience to include experience with contract negotiations, Federal Acquisitions Regulations and procurement/subcontracting principles. The candidate must be highly organized and have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with good communication skills (both written and oral). The candidate should have an understanding of procurement processes and subcontract management support, including previous experience in procurement or subcontract administration. The candidate should have a solid background in negotiations and knowledge and understanding of Federal Acquisition Procedures.
Desired skills - Previous experience managing subcontracts - Working knowledge of LM Procure to Pay (P2P) - Current understanding of Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP) - Experience negotiating with International Suppliers
