Lockheed Martin Technical Service Engineer Senior - Surveillance - Early Detection Equipment - Special Operations Forces in Lexington, Kentucky

Description: Perform Technical Inspections / Repairs to various types of surveillance / early detection equipment as directed. Provide estimates to repair up to and including parts / labor requirements. Subject Matter Expert in the field of Electronics Repair.

Assist Logistics personnel in determining spares required for field / depot level repairs.

Basic Qualifications:

The successful candidate will be able to proficiently:

Diagnose, test, or analyze the performance of electrical components, assemblies or systems.

Review electrical engineering plans to ensure adherence to design specifications and compliance with applicable electrical codes and standards.

Calculate design specifications or cost, material, and resource estimates, and prepare project schedules and budgets.

Compile and maintain records documenting engineering schematics, installed equipment, installation or operational problems, resources used, repairs, or corrective action performed. Set up and operate standard or specialized testing equipment.

Work with electronic surveillance systems including setup and operation. Examples of the systems include thermal cameras, ground sensors, mesh radio networks, and ground radars. Troubleshooting and repair of the systems referenced above. Utilize OEM manuals to perform equipment testing and configuration. use of various electronic test equipment. perform system configuration to ensure equipment meets customer requirements and expectations.

The successful candidate will be proficient in the testing, inspection and repair of the following platforms, and OEM certified:

EGON 1 System

EGON 2 System

MODI System

THOR II System

MMBJ System

Modi

Magni

Bal Chatri

and proficient in utilizing the following testing equipment:

Field test Kit ( FTK)

Band Module test sets

Master Module test kits

Signal generators

Signal Analyzers

Multi Meters

Desired Skills:

OEM certified to platforms referenced in the Basic Qualifications.
