As an integrated communications intern, you will create and/or support communications plans, company volunteer events, employee articles and digital signage among other communications tactics to help tell the Space story to our employees, community partners and the public. Collaborating with our team of writers, event planners and communications professionals, your responsibilities will include some or all of the following:

• Create content for our internal and external platforms.

• Assist in developing volunteer project plans.

• Track community partner engagement and communicate status to team.

• Assist with any ongoing company campaigns.

• Support site-related activities as needed.

This position is considered full-time

Basic Qualifications:

• Working towards an undergraduate or advance degree from an accredited college with a major related to communications, including public relations, communications, journalism, marketing or other related disciplines.

• Minimum cumulative 3.3 GPA

Desired Skills:

• Understanding of the various components of a communications plan

Knowledge of Associated Press (AP) style

• Strong writing skills

• Combination of skills in event planning, social media, media, digital marketing and writing for the web

• Prior communications internships, related work experiences or demonstrated leadership experiences (e.g. PRSSA or on-campus agency) is preferred, but not required

• Great interpersonal skills, integrity, organization, teamwork, energy and flexibility
