Lockheed Martin Space is seeking an Associate Contracts Manager for Orion Development and Production Contract.

The selected candidate will be responsible for a team of administrators that covers all facets of contracting, proposal development, negotiation, and contract administration.

• Manages the negotiation, administration, extension, termination, and renegotiations of all standard and nonstandard contracts.

• Oversees the evaluation of contract performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts, and compliance to contractual obligations.

• Ensures communications are maintained for timely contract execution by all parties.

• Ensures final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience in all phases of contracts management of complex contracts

FAR/DFARS knowledge and experience

The ability to build and maintain relationships of trust within the program and customer

Strong positive customer relations track record

Desired Skills:

Strong customer contract negotiations experience

Strong presentation and written communication skills

NASA experience is preferred

Strong negotiation experience

Virtual team coordination experience

Full Spectrum Leadership skills including emphasis on mentoring and coaching

Self-starter who requires virtually no supervision

Ability to handle multiple assignments and achieve program goals and meet team deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Ability to travel

U.S. citizen
