Provide leadership to the Contracts Management function for Commercial Civil Line of Business within Space Systems Company. This position will directly support the Director of Contracts in all Commercial activities. Must have the ability to provide strategy and expertise to a fast paced competitive market, and guide growth and development of the function as necessary to support the changing needs of the LOB. This position directly participates in establishing and administering projects and assignments and maintaining a consistent business reporting rhythm.
Demonstrated experience in establishing and refining contract management approaches, developing strategies for commercial contract types, and developing best practices and tools in support of the contract organization. Must be able to identify risks and contract issues and effectively address them in a timely manner. Candidate will support a portfolio of new business captures and administration of existing commercial contracts (domestic and international).

Experience in drafting terms and conditions for commercial proposals; proposal preparation support, contract negotiations, and contract management in the commercial environment.
Knowledge of all type contracting arrangements for complex development and hardware programs.
Ability to build and maintain relationships of trust with business area and company/corporate management.
Strong presentation and written communication skills.
High analytical ability and results oriented.
Able to work effectively and independently in a dynamic environment
Ability to identify risk and understand financial implications.
Experience in follow on and competitive proposal preparation and contract negotiations.
Experience with briefing management on program status and contractual issues.
Knowledge and understanding of Lockheed Martin procedures and applications.
Strong positive customer relations track record.
Experience in commercial and international proposal preparation, negotiation and contract administration.
Creative contracting and pathfinder experiences in contract management.
