Lockheed Martin Electronic Steered Array Engineering Director in Littleton, Colorado
The Electronic Steered Array (ESA) Director is responsible for the successful and efficient execution of Electronic Steered Array (ESA) programs across RF Center of Excellence (CoE) responsibility. This role ensures the CoE is achieving an enterprise value across many efforts while ensuring the executions are meeting all requirements including on cost and schedule deliveries. The Electronic Steered Array (ESA) Director would provide oversight over all the Program Manager’s, ensuring programs are staffed appropriately, have clear and concise baselines, adhere to all applicable Common Integrated Process Systems, and perform to a high level of efficiency in CPI and SPI throughout the program. This job also entails working closely with Operations and Financial & Business Operations to improve program performance including close coordination with Assembly, Test, and Launch Operations (ATLO), Procurement, Shipping, Receiving inspection, Quality Assurance, planning, etc. Finally, this job is responsible for improving the overall facilities, engineering, and program management tools available to the ESA programs
Basic Qualifications • 15 years of technical and leadership experience with demonstrated expertise in RF Payloads products and systems, development, anomaly troubleshooting and production of hardware. • Demonstrated experience in driving results and managing operations of an Engineering organization. • Proven Full Spectrum Leadership skills and experience leading employees to perform productively and foster relationships in a cross-functional team environment • Successful experience leading capture efforts to secure new business including IRAD and CRADs. • Experience managing technical, schedule and cost for a program or product. • Excellent communications skills both verbal and written with the proven ability to communicate to all levels internally and externally. • Demonstrated ability to drive closure and resolve technical issues/challenges. • Demonstrated ability to develop technical talent and to build technical pipelines to sustain technical expertise within the organization. • Must have the ability to obtain SCI and Top Secret clearance levels.
Desired skills • Related Master's Degree. • Active TS/SCI • Proposal writing experience thru Space with customer knowledge and interface. • Experience scaling an organization. • Proven experience as a conceptual thinker with the ability to translate into action and results. • Wide variety of customer experience and exposure across Business Areas. • Experience in a position to make high stakes decisions. • Extensive customer and external community relationships.
