Lockheed Martin Hardware Engineer in Littleton, Colorado

Description: This is a Hardware Systems Engineering position

supporting the EAGIL program. The candidate will be

part of the Engineering Environments team providing

engineering and technical support across multiple

projects, IRADs, and captures. Responsibilities will

include:

- Support daily lab operations

- Regularly coordinating with security for property transfer

- Working with property management for material

disposal and incoming material

- Assist in periodic inventory of lab items

- Producing Engineering Drawing Status Updates

- Maintaining records concerning lab power use and

hardware layout

- Performing system cabling; rack and hardware

installation using and interpreting engineering

drawings

- Fabricating and installing various cabling to include:

Cat 5&6, Power, Data and Fiber Optic

- Interpreting engineering drawings and providing appropriate redlines and techinical review

- Coordinating shipment and tracking of lab repair

- Program-wide Logistics, to include hardware and software tracking and documentation

- Production of program Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs)

- Assist System Administration team with integration of Unix and Windows Servers, and Cisco Networking equipment

Desired Skills: - Familiarity with the Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS)

- Familiarity with Agile processes/JIRA

- Experience using SharePoint and maintaining

databases

- Ability to create, interpret, and modify engineering

drawings

- Has, or will obtain, Security+ certification

- Knowledge in estimating work task time-frames,

BOE experience a plus

- Basic Unix and/or Windows System administration experience

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- Microsoft Office skills to include Visio

- Must be self-motivated, with excellent relationship

building skills and must possess good communication

skills, both oral and written.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Experience creating and maintaining technical

documentation
