We have an exciting entry level inventory planning position at our Littleton, CO facility on the Electronics Manufacturing Center (EMC) Inventory team. As the Inventory Planner/Controller on this team you will be responsible for the control of the stockroom inventory supporting multiple programs across the campus. This position is a service-oriented Inventory Planner role that provides direct support to space programs and manufacturing floors. You will be responsible for processing and monitoring customer demands and inventory planning on program production orders. This is a fast-paced environment that requires working with multiple programs and locations at various levels of production support. It will be critical that you have good verbal and written communication skills to help resolve issues and discrepancies as they arise. You will be responsible for keeping keep supply chain metrics up-to-date and maintain accuracy of the inventory database. This position will be working with the asset specialist team overseeing the kitting of parts and flight hardware and staging for delivery to the production floor and working with flow centers and manufacturing areas in support of their material requirements.

Desired Skills: •Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration

•Current/Active DoD Secret security clearance

•Good understanding of Supply Chain metrics

•Proficiency in MS Office Suite – intermediate/strong skills in Microsoft Excel

•Understanding of SAP, ASRS, and other inventory systems

•Warehousing/Inventory experience

•Experience working with union contracts

•Excellent written & verbal communication skills

•Ability to make applied discretion and judgment to complete assignments of limited scope

•Be able to multi-task for multiple programs and be able to determine urgency of each request

•Excellent written and oral communication skills

•Ability to complete assignments requiring judgment and discretion, failure to achieve results may affect schedules and programs

•Ability to work well in a team environment, as well as on their own with minimal supervision

•Customer Service oriented as this position serves as the first line of representation

•Ability to provide daily direction to represented staff

•Ability to work independently, with occasional supervision


•Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration from an accredited college with no experience and/or equivalent experience/combined education (in lieu of a degree, candidates with 8 years of directly relevant experience)

•Familiarity with inventory management software

•Receiving/Warehousing/Inventory experience

•Knowledge of shelf-life, hazardous material, and temperature-controlled material

•Must have strong computer skills to include experience with an automated system designed to manage major business process such as procurement, planning, or supply chain/inventory management

•Be able to provide reports, requested information, completed special projects, and assignments to management as needed

•Must be a United States citizen

•Able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance

•Willingness to work occasional overtime, weekends, holidays, or off shifts
