Lockheed Martin IT Senior Technician in Littleton, Colorado

Description: Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for all managing, troubleshooting, and incorporating MFC Citrix environment

• Responsible for all technical support, troubleshooting, integration, upgrades and maintenance of all networked and locally attached computing equipment

• Manage projects in alignment within MFC IT scope

• Repair, replace and creatively solve hardware and software issues for all computing equipment supporting an isolated environment of specialized manufacturing and engineering equipment

• Maintain network infrastructure, including terminations, upgrades, and equipment replacement

• Responsible for protecting, maintaining, backing up, and recovering data related to IT equipment

• Work closely with the IT management and MFC programs to determine support requirements, priorities and support needs

• Develop, implement and maintain new processes and procedures to ensure efficiency, risk reduction and program excellence

• Provide support for Disaster Recovery planning, testing and execution

• Collaborate with MFC Offsites IT Manager and Desktop/Network program management to ensure security guidelines, computing standards and best practices are being followed.

• Provide Status Reports and effectively communicating to IT and site management on all outstanding matters/issues

Basic Qualifications:

Must be and/or have:

• Experience and working knowledge of Citrix

• Manage multiple projects proficiently

• Experience supporting network equipment and configuring computers with unique network configurations

• Experience working with desktop hardware and software installation/replacement/troubleshooting

• Exemplary communication skills, both verbal and written

• Self-motivated, customer focused, and proactive

• Outstanding work ethic

• Able to professionally deal with quick and drastic changes

• Capable of supporting multiple tasks and customers with competing deadlines concurrently

• Work full time during core business hours and support after hour projects, outages or migrations as necessary

• Experience terminating CAT6A cables and 110 blocks

• Experience troubleshooting network printers

• Experience using backup and imaging software

• Ability to create documentation, processes and procedures to ensure risk reduction

• Experience with computer patching and updates

• Experience installing operating systems and imaging computers

• Experience in vulnerability remediation and infrastructure security management

• Ability to provide afterhours support

Desired Skills:

• Understanding of MFC and EBS processes, procedures, and policies

• Experience installing, supporting and using various Windows Operating systems

• Experience installing, supporting and using Office 365

• Working knowledge of Service Central, CATS, RMS, JITA and other IT tools used with MFC

• Working knowledge of SecureNet project and best practices

• Experience with data protection, backups and data recovery tools such as Connected
