The RF Center of Excellence (CoE) is seeking a motivated and dynamic leader to lead the development of next generation electronically scanned array (ESA) products across the Space Enterprise. The ESA Products Senior Manager will be responsible for overseeing the engineering and production teams in developing and delivering ESA products for the Space LOBs. Overall responsibility will include strategic organizational leadership and tactical management including staffing, training, and talent development; performing requirements definition and specification development; creating designs and performing analyses; and, integration, test, verification, and production of ESA products. This position will require strong emphasis on setting strategic direction for the organization, leading definition and implementation of affordability, developing common design initiatives, developing designs for producibility, and establishing and monitoring metrics.

Responsibility may also include Cost Account Management for a multi-discipline product team, over the product development and delivery cycle, in addition to functional management duties. Responsible for manpower and material planning, schedule milestone planning, earned value reporting and variance analysis, in addition to project technical execution.

The ESA Products Senior Manager will coordinate with various organizations and functions across the Enterprise ensuring staffing and program requirements (cost, schedule, and technical) are met.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience in design, development, and production of Space Flight payloads.

Minimum 5 or years of leadership experience leading diverse teams through the product life-cycle phases.

Excellent presentation, oral and written skills to facilitate effective and efficient interchanges with senior management and customers.

Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to develop and cultivate talent.

Demonstrated leadership driving technical issues to closure.

Demonstrated ability to drive technology investments and develop new or common products for business opportunities.

Demonstrated ability to lead the definition and implementation of Design for X initiatives (e.g., producibility, affordability, etc.)

Broad RF Engineering skills with a good understanding of ESAs.

Desired Skills:

Related Master's degree.

Experience leading development teams through major milestones including Systems Requirements Review (SRR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR) and Critical Design Review (CDR).

Ability to lead multi-functional engineering and production teams in creating products.

Green or Black Belt certified.

Active TS/SCI

Knowledge current and future state of RF engineering tools and metrics
