Lockheed Martin Software Engineer in Littleton, Colorado

Description: Candidate will work on the SBIRS Geo 5/6 Program. Primary job assignment is embedded software development in C++. Responsible for development and verification of Bus related software modules within the FSW CSCIs. Responsibilities include requirements definition, design, code & unit test, integration support and verification of spacecraft bus software. This position requires interaction with planning and coordination with multiple software development team members, spacecraft engineering and data engineering/maintenance teams. The job duties will include support of the FSW integration, FSW SIQT development and execution including test script development, maintenance and debug.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering with Computer Science and Computer Engineering studies.

• Experience with the "C/C++" programming language.

• Good teamwork skills; desire to work with high performance software development teams.

Desired Skills:

Experience with Green Hills/ VxWorks real-time embedded software development experience.

Development experience with UML design tools.

Development experience with hardware – software interfaces.

Shell scripting tools such as Bourne shell, Csh, Perl / Tk, sed, awk, and gnu make utility on Linux / Unix development environments (including Solaris and Linux hosts).

Problem solver who meets deadlines, communicates effectively, enjoys challenges, can work independently, and has the ability to learn quickly
