If you are a Subcontracts professional with an interest in space missions, Lockheed Martin Space in Littleton, CO has an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, growing division of the business area working on subcontract management activities for advanced technical development programs. In this role you will:

• Be responsible for administering cost-type and fixed price subcontracts for development hardware deliveries in support of existing programs.

• Work with the subcontracts team to include the Certified Principal Engineer (CPE) and other functional representatives as required (e.g. Quality Assurance, Finance, etc.)

• Support a classified area that prepares, manages, and administers subcontracted items using mission area unique processes while maintaining compliance with Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP) and Commercial Acquisition Procedures (CAP)

• Support prime contract proposal submissions by working subcontract RFPs, proposal evaluations and Procurement Bill of Material (PBOE) proposal submittals

• Work both Government and commercial type contracts with subcontractors

This role will require a strong, experienced Subcontract Administrator to work with a less experienced technical team in some cases so being familiar with a variety of subcontract types (e.g. cost reimbursable, FFP, T&M, Task Order, Labor hour, eIWTA, etc.) and how to perform those subcontract administration/management tasks, along with some knowledge of the SAP/P2P systems and eIWTA system, will be important.

Typically has 9 - 15 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree with 8-10 years of professional experience; in lieu of a degree, candidates with 16+ years of relevant experience will also be considered

• Experience with administering major and non-major development and existing hardware designs subcontracts

• Experience with long-form subcontracts utilizing commercial acquisition procedures (CAP)

• Accomplished negotiator of large and small dollar complex and simple subcontractor proposals

• Versed in FAR, DFAR, Corporate procedures and Public Law as they apply to subcontracts

• Experience issuing Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), generating all types of Request for Proposals (RFPs), evaluating subcontractor proposals, conducting fact-finding sessions, leading proposal negotiations, coordination with Legal to negotiate terms and conditions

• Experience performing peer reviews of subcontract definintization packages

• Possess proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

• United States citizen

• Must be willing and able to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance and pass a counterintelligence polygraph test

Desired Skills:

• Active TS/SCI with current Poly is desired

• Experience with long-form subcontracts utilizing Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP)

• In depth knowledge of all types of contracts and how to utilize which type in various program scenarios

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and be self-motivated

• Aerospace program negotiation skills and experience

• Ability to be flexible and accept change

• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and work well under pressure

• Experienced presenter to Program Management and Customer representative

• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in dynamic work environment; ability to analyze a problem and recommend solutions by exercising sound problem solving skills
