Qualified candidate for this Systems Administrator position on the Canyon team will have strong IT
administration, problem solving, and communication skills focused on systems/network administration across multiple classification levels. Candidate will be responsible for daily administration and future planning on multiple networks and work with various systems/technologies to ensure seamless operation (user account management, system and network hardware/software maintenance and configuration, backup/disaster recovery maintenance) and overall growth of systems/networks. Candidate will be asked to capture as-is configuration, drafting network diagrams, and planning for future upgrades/architectures. Candidate will be expected to coordinate all system/network modifications with the network ISSO, ensure security requirements are met (domain config/patch management) and be the conduit for all team requests for data transfers to/from the network. Candidate will also be expected to support incident reporting/troubleshooting and communicate with the team for further issue ID/resolution. Candidate must be able to work independently and provide guidance to junior system administrators. Previous experience with mission management domain and customer base is highly desired.
- Current Security+ or equivelant
- VMware vSphere/vCenter/Web Hardening/configuration experience
- Linux experience
- Windows Administration/Hardening at an Enterprise Level
- In-depth knowledge of networks
- HP, Cisco, IBM Hardware knowledge/expertise
- Experience Reviewing/Creating Documentation
- Basic Linux/Unix shell scripting (bash, sh, tsch)
- Experience with GIT

- Advanced PowerShell and PowerCLI scripting
- AUE experience
- Security onboarding process knowledge
- SAN knowledge/experience
- CISSP certification
- Puppet/Docker experience
- AWS experience
- Datacenter Management experience
- SAN knowledge/experience
