The Systems Engineer Test Conductor Lead performs System Awareness at all levels and analysis at all levels including functional and performance, not just compatibility. The Systems Engineer Test Conductor Lead focuses on System Performance and Functionality through Test and Analysis, and can Identify the Mission Risk of a TLYF Exception. Expertise in Mission & Performance Objectives and Requirements. The Systems Engineer Test Conductor Lead is required to perform Operations on deployed operational CM/SM flight assets at Operations and Checkout building.
The Systems Engineer Test Conductor Lead must either have experience as a Certified Test Conductor (CTC) within Lockheed Martin or possess the desire and ability to obtain Test Conductor Certification through testing and process experience. The Systems Engineer Test Conductor Lead must also perform CTC Lead duties to include: Leading Integration, Lab, and Mission Test CTC tasks; assigning CTCs to activities; CTC Planning; Mentoring CTCs in training and leading these CTCs through the Certification Process; Coaching CTCs through OJT; Sponsoring CTCs at the Certification Boards; Managing future CTC personnel needs, certification/CIPS/tool changes, and training needs; Interfacing the Central Test Organization.
Desired Skills: - Master Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering
- NASA space flight programs
- Strong interpersonal communications skills
- Fast learner with good problem solving abilities
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years professional experience in Integration or Test roles
- Requirements derivation and interface testing with avionics
- Ability to coordinate issues across multiple work locations and organizational structures
- Leadership experience within a team environment
