This position is located at Luke AFB, AZ and will support the F-35 Program. The Information System Security Officer (ISSO) performs mandatory cybersecurity tasks on assigned systems utilizing Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG), DoD 8500 documents, F-35 authorization documentation and other related DoD documents.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, continuous monitoring activities, audit log review, incident response, user training, media control, configuring secure information systems, developing system authorization documentation and implementation of risk mitigation strategies for complex simulation, training and operational systems
supporting F-35 pilot and maintainer training. This role provides guidance to LM and Government customers on multiple F-35 system boundaries at Luke AFB. Ensures self-inspection reviews, system reviews, and audits are conducted on assigned systems. This is a multi-tasking environment that demands customer service, communication, and organizational
Mission requirements may require other than first-shift work. Other duties as assigned.
Final Transferable Secret security clearance, last Periodic Reinvestigation must be within the last six years. Must be able to attain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) access. Must have and maintain DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification. Extensive technical abilities and full knowledge of risk
management, systems functions, security policies, technical security safeguards, and operational security measures. Ability to work independently without appreciable direction. Keen attention to detail and adherence to established security policies.
Experience with the day to day operations of an F-35 training center. Detailed knowledge of multiple F-35 boundaries supporting academics and flying operations such as Autonomic Logistics Information System, Training Infrastructure Systems, Ejection System Maintenance Trainer, and Support Equipment. Proven complex problem solver using ingenuity and creativity
while working with a considerable amount of latitude. Experience working in a military environment with internal and external customers. Experience working with Foreign Nationals. Prior experience as an F-35 Information System Security Officer or Information Systems Security Manager. Ability to design,
develop and integrate classified computer systems and networks in compliance with government regulations. Ability to speak in front of large groups of people.
