Lockheed Martin Program Planner in Manassas, Virginia

Description: Develop and status schedules in sufficient detail to assess program performance and identify schedule performance issues in a timely manner. Develop/coordinate schedule recovery plans to ensure program milestones are completed in accordance with contract requirements and financial plans. Perform schedule risk assessments and support program risk/opportunity process. In conjunction with Program Finance and Control Account Managers (CAMs), develop/maintain Earned Value Management System and provide monthly status and analysis. Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work well in a team environment and the ability to manage multiple tasks are required.

This position is part of the Early Career Development Program (ECDP) within the Finance and Business Operations function. The program lasts approximately 2.5 to 3 years (may vary based on employee’s start date) and typically consists of a rotational experience, formal mentor and ‘buddy’ programs, and a standardized training curriculum; all of which are designed to provide a broad background in the finance and business operations functions

Basic Qualifications:

- Fundamental knowledge of business principles.

- Previous professional working experience or comparable academic experience.

- Scheduling or Finance tools experience (Open Plan, Project, Cobra).
