Lockheed Martin Aircraft Maint Spt Engineer in Marietta, Georgia

Selected candidate will be responsible for authoring, validating and maintaining organizational-level retrofit technical documentation in support of C-130 and C 5 programs. Candidate will be responsible for the development of modification data in support of various technical publications and modifications programs maintained in Adobe® FrameMaker®, a template based authoring and publishing tool. Successful candidate will be required to learn the authoring systems and adapt prior experience utilizing desktop publishing tools to create new documentation or update and publish revised or changed material. Familiarity with Microsoft® Office tool Suite is required. Candidate will convey their working knowledge of aircraft/mechanical/airframe systems and airplane structure into publications to support C-130 and C-5 operational fleets. Reading and interpreting engineering, supplier, and customer documentation and drawings, effective interaction and communication with customers, vendors, engineering, and other organizations to define and document aircraft maintenance requirements is a daily requirement in this position. Candidate should be familiar with the following specifications guide the execution of tasks: ATA 100 Specifications for Manufacturers Technical Data, MIL-STD-1808 (USAF) System/Subsystem/Subject Numbering System, and NAVAIR 00 25 300 – Naval Air Systems Command Technical Directive System, and TO 00 5 15 – Time Compliance Technical Order System. Candidate should have good oral and written communications skills and be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Basic Qualifications Engineering or Aircraft Maintenance Experience – 2 years

Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings
