Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced Contracts professional to support the RMS Training and Logistics Line of Business. The selected candidate will work out of our office in Marietta, GA, and primarily support C-130 Aircrew and Maintenance Training Systems programs for the US Government and International Customers. The candidate will have responsibility for a broad range of contract management activities including proposal preparation, contract negotiation, administration, and closeout for the programs and special projects as assigned. Candidate will divide time between supporting existing contracts and coordinating and supporting major proposals for new business and existing programs.

Must have the ability to: -Develop and apply solutions to unusually complex problems which require the regular use of a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovation. Solutions may serve as precedent for future decisions. -Review and evaluate customer requests for proposal or revisions to contracts; provide risk assessments and offer alternative approaches to mitigate risks, including alternative contractual language; evaluate and coordinate proposals; investigate and reconcile significant contract changes involving cost, specifications, schedules, etc. -Work in conjunction with associated functional organizations and customers to ensure conformance with contractual obligations, to remain cognizant of problem areas, and to implement the required corrective actions. -Evaluate contract performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts, and compliance to contractual obligations. -Maintain communications to ensure timely contract execution by the parties. -Ensure final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations

The selected candidate must exercise initiative and be able to operate in a fast-paced dynamic environment. Must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to work directly with the customer on multiple contract types (CPFF, CPIF, CPAF, T&M & FFP).

Basic Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Analytical and results oriented

Able to work effectively and independently in a dynamic multi-program environment

Experience in follow on and competitive proposal preparation and contract negotiations

Candidate must be willing and able to engage on routine and unique problems/issues to help develop solutions for multi-million-dollar complex contracts

Desired skills Experience with FAR/DFARS based contracts, including both cost reimbursable and fixed price contracts

Experience with Direct Commercial Sales

Excellent presentation and communication skills, both oral and written

Past experience dealing with C-130 Aircrew or Maintenance Training Systems or other types of Flight Training Systems desirable
