Lockheed Martin Data Analytics Engineer in Marietta, Georgia

Description: This Lockheed Martin (LM) Enterprise Business Services (EBS) position will be a key contributor to Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Business Intelligence and Analytics efforts. Current architecture focuses on data visualization and reporting using SAP Business Objects and Tableau, Enterprise, Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL) using SAP Data Services, and the SAP HANA in-memory database, and Hadoop. Project efforts focus on transforming large data sets for traditional end user reporting, self-service, dashboard metrics, and predictive analytics.

Typical areas of contribution include:

- Gathering and Understanding Business Requirements

- Investigating Data Needed to Develop Solutions to Meet Requirements

- Extraction, Transformation, and Loading of Data

- Database Modeling

- Business Intelligence Design and Reporting

- Performing Unit and Integration Testing

- Production Deployment Support

- Implementing Process Improvements

- On-call Batch Support


Basic Qualifications:

- Experience with Databases

- Experience with SQL

- Experience in Object Oriented Programming (i.e. C++, Java Scripting)

- Experience with Business Intelligence Tools (i.e. Tableau, SAP IDT, Webi, Design Studio)

- Knowledge of Extraction, Transformation, and Loading tools (i.e. SAP Data Services, Informatica)

- Knowledge of SAP Data

- Knowledge of Functional Data such as Supply Chain, Production Operations, Quality, Finance, or Sustainment

Desired Skills:

- Knowledge of Business Analysis or Mathematical and Statistical Modeling

- Knowledge of Extraction, Transformation, and Loading tools

- Problem solving abilities

- Experience with Extraction, Transformation, and Loading Tools

- Knowledge of Agile Methodology

- Knowledge of SAP HANA

- Knowledge of HANA XS

- Knowledge of SAP BusinessObjects Application tools

- Knowledge of Graph DB, Data Virtualization, DevOps

- Knowledge of Procedural languages; such as: R, Python

- Knowledge of Statistical tools; such as: SAS, SPSS, MATLAB, Mathematica

- Demonstrated teamwork abilities

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
