Lockheed Martin Facilities Engineer Senior in Marietta, Georgia
Description: Working knowledge of boilers, steam and steam condensate systems, process piping, pumps, air compressors, mixers, heat exchangers, domestic water piping, industrial waste treatment systems, pipe stress analysis and CNC machine tools and manufacturing systems.
Perform project manager tasks on facilities projects overseeing all aspects and disciplines of work.
Direct Architectural Engineering firms in preparing construction project designs.
Provide oversight for contractor construction efforts to assure that LM Aero receives a quality project in compliance with all applicable codes.
In all, assure that safety is always the first priority. Perform mechanical design work, investigate customer requirements, prepare engineering drawings, cost estimates and specifications for shop and subcontract work on industrial plant mechanical systems.
Provide liaison to plant maintenance, project requesters, architect/engineering firms, and management as required.
Position requires the ability to perform field engineering in all areas of the plant (includes climbing stairs, ladders, etc.). BS degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
Professional Engineer (PE) registered in the State of Georgia preferred. Must have good team building and people skills.

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
Ten years experience working with a combination of the following: boilers, steam and steam condensate systems, process piping, pumps, air compressors, mixers, heat exchangers, domestic water piping, industrial waste treatment systems, pipe stress analysis
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
Experience in the use of Microstation or similar Computer Aided Design System (AutoCAD)
