Description: This position supports the national security of the United States.

Lockheed Martin’s Aeronautics business, home of Air Mobility & Maritime Missions aircraft, is looking for a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) within the Security & Emergency Services (SES) organization in Marietta, GA.

The primary mission of the SES organization is to mitigate risk and promote the safety and security of company personnel and assets, and to ensure compliance with U.S. government and other customer security requirements in support of U.S. national security interests.

The CPSO will be a member of the Special Program Security Team, supporting the F-35 Lightning, Advanced Development Programs (ADP), and other Special Program efforts.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience interpreting and implementing security requirements/regulations

Experience with NISPOM, JAFAN 6/0, JAFAN 6/3, JAFAN 6/9, SAPNP and/or all DoD Special Program Security Manuals

Desired Skills:


Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college

Experience in either DoD Collateral Program, Special Access Program, Personnel Security, Physical Security, and/or Security Education & Training

Ability to obtain and maintain SAP Access

Self-driven and results-oriented, capable of effectively working multiple tasks concurrently and across an ambiguous and uncertain landscape

Highly organized and have very advanced oral and written communication skills, as well as working knowledge of Microsoft Office
