Description: Derco Aerospace, Inc., an industry-leading aerospace distributor of spares, components, and services, is seeking an experienced and self-motivated Inventory Assistant/Receiving Clerk who is looking for a challenging work environment. Selected individual will be responsible for receiving and inspecting material to meet contract requirements.
Specific responsibilities include receiving inbound material, counting, and inspecting material to basic requirements such as damage, discrepancies between parts, paperwork traceability, etc. Some dimensional verification may be required. Candidate must be able to lift and move items or cartons up to fifty pounds or more with team lifts on a regular basis. Candidates may pull items from shelves manually or using PIV according to bill of material, assemble, package and inspect for accuracy. Daily activity will include counting activity throughout the warehouse as well as some pulling of parts or placing of parts on inventory shelves walking up and down stairs. Candidate must be adaptable and able to switch focus quickly but maintain safety and accuracy.

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Proficiency in basic MS Office tools is required.
One year of general warehouse experience is preferred.
Experience with receiving and inspecting material is preferred.
Experience using an Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP), especially IFS, is preferred.
