Lockheed Martin IT Project Manager - Operations in Moorestown, Connecticut

Position is in the Lockheed Martin Enterprise Business Services (EBS) organization supporting the Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) Business Area. This position will require interfacing with various members of the RMS leadership community, the Operations and Quality departments, and resources across IT. This position will manage projects and digital initiatives related to Solumina, along with other Operations and Quality applications.

The core responsibilities are based on a broad knowledge of IT and include, but are not limited to the following: - Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation - Estimate and manage project cost and risks - Perform supportability and effectiveness analyses on systems owned by the team - Design, development, and analysis of computer systems or programs based on and related to user or system design specifications - Apply systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users to determine hardware, software, or system functional specifications - Perform analysis at all levels of a system, to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal - Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints - Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications

Work location is preferred at a the following RMS Site: Stratford CT, Owego, NY, Moorestown NJ. May consider other RMS site locations. This is not a telecommuting position.

Basic Qualifications - Proven ability to drive activity to closure - Self-motivated with strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to define, understand and translate business requirements into IT deliverables - Demonstrated knowledge of project management - Demonstrated ability to facilitate management of budgets - Proven ability to guide successful completion of major programs through a project leadership role - Capacity to perform work without appreciable direction - Proficient in designing technical solutions to complex problems - Thrives in team environment

Desired skills - Demonstrated ability to effectively facilitate discussions and workshops - Strong analysis skills and time management - Ability to exercise considerable latitude in determining technical objectives and approaches to assignment - History of successful interacts with senior management - Demonstrates extensive technical and business process expertise, and has full knowledge of other related disciplines - RMS or RMS IT business experience - Knowledge of manufacturing applications - Experience with mobile application development - Interest in digital transformation
