The Mark (MK) 92 Fire Control System (FCS) Program, as the In Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) for the MK 92 FCS, is seeking a Deputy Program Manager that will be responsible for managing activities to provide engineering and technical support to the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Port Hueneme Division (PHD), Navy ships, Coast Guard Cutters and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Countries.
Will manage the day to day activities of the program, maintain oversight of and responsibility for the cost, schedule, contract requirements and program execution. The DPM will have the responsibility to coordinate and deliver all required work products as defined in the Task Order / Delivery Order Statement of Work on overarching IDIQ and BOA contracts, including, but not limited to, repair/refurbishment of customer equipment (antennas and below deck equipment), ORDALT installation, DMS resolution, engineering investigations, failure analysis, technical documentation and asset staging and parts control under the direction of the Program Manager.
Will lead the Huntsville, Alabama Depot team in the execution of the program and have a direct relationship with the customer.
Will be accountable for a full set of program management responsibilities, including but not limited to the following key activities: • Provide day-to-day support to MK 92 FCS PM Prepare for and participate in Weekly Contracts and Working Group Meetings with customer, • Support Program Management Reviews with NSWC PHD and PMS 326 Navy customer • Work closely with the program Subcontract Manager to manage material requirements and DMS issues, • Provide leadership for preparation of Proposals for submission PHD, • Identify areas of process improvements for program policies and procedures
Basic Qualifications Experienced team leader Excellent project management skills and experience base Technical skill sufficient to lead projects associated with next generation radar capabilities Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Ability to obtain and maintain SECRET clearance is required.
