Lockheed Martin Desktop Support Site Lead in NAS Pax River, Maryland
Description: This Enterprise IT position will be a part of the Business Area (BA) End User Services (EUS) organization. Successful candidate will lead a team of IT technical resources responsible for delivering front-line end user support in Patuxent River, MD and surrounding locations
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
-Successful interaction and teaming with EBS team members, management and site customers on technical issues.
-Applying technical expertise and teaming with other resources to develop and implement technical solutions to a wide range of complex problems.
-Works independently with a sense of urgency and exceptional customer service skills
-Provides daily written updates on status of current tickets, open issues and projects
-Performs desktop and laptop system deployments including hardware and software configurations
-Supports mobile devices such as the iPhone, iPad and IPad Pro Devices.
-Responsible for accurate tracking of all assets supported by Desktop Support
-Performs troubleshooting of supported desktop operating systems and applications
-Documents system problems and resolution for future reference
-Maintains technical documentation related to the configuration of production components (i.e. hardware, operating system, applications, management tools, etc.) including installation and troubleshooting instructions
-Performs other duties as assigned
-Some travel may be required
This is not a telecommuting position. This is an onsite position based in Patuxent River, MD

Experience with IT Service Management/Configuration Management, including incident management and change management
Demonstrated effective organizational and team building skills

Proven ability to identify, build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the enterprise
Ability to apply planning and problem solving techniques
Experience troubleshooting and performing Root Cause Analysis for complex service/system issues
Proven time management and organizational skills with attention to detail in all situations
High level of technical acumen with a wide variety of IT operating systems, tools and technologies illustrated through previous work experience
Experience supporting Windows and iOS technologies
Experience with imaging computers
Ability to provide afterhours/on call support
Experience with enterprise Wi-Fi networks; EWLAN/MWLAN
Experience supporting the RMS Line of Business
Experience supporting CH53k program
Experience working in a virtual environment / with a geographically dispersed team
Proven ability to train, lead and support successful technical teams
Proven ability to work across organizational boundaries
Project Management experience
Demonstrated experience in writing technical procedures and documentation; SOIs and KMRs
HP & Dell HW Certifications
An understanding of networking fundamentals
Significant experience interfacing with customers, IT management, and vendors; effectively representing the IT support organization.
Experience researching and supporting new and emerging technologies
Experience supporting WYSE devices
Experience with desktop management and asset management tools including CM12, Dameware, JITA, CATS, Lansweeper, SNOW and Service Central
Ability to obtain a security clearance
