Lockheed Martin Weapons Integration/Flight Test Engineer Sr Staff in NAS Pax River, Maryland

Description: F-35 Weapons Integration Flight Test Engineer at PAX River, MD.

The successful candidate will become a member of the PAX Integrated Test Force team. The candidate will lead and execute weapons flight tests in conjunction with USG and home IPT team members. Candidate will be part of the onsite team in delivering closure of weapons certification and integration testing and, as such, must have high expertise in the broad aspects of Weapons testing and apply this high expertise autonomously.

Responsibilities will include support of the daily flight schedule including briefings, debriefings, and control room monitoring during weapons integration flights. Provide support of flight test aircraft troubleshooting to include coordination with Ft. Worth Weapons Integration SMEs as necessary to resolve issues.

Will work closely with Ft. Worth Weapons Integration team members to coordinate flight test planning schedules to ensure travel is planned appropriately for Ft. Worth engineering support of flights at PAX.

Candidate must be capable of working with the large onsite USG weapons team in order complete testing within plan and on schedule.

Candidate must work well within a team, and possess strong oral and written communication skills.

**Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

Weapons Integration Flight Test Support experience with USAF and/or USN tactical aircraft and test ranges.

Desired Skills:

Weapons Integration experience (PVI, digital, electrical and mechanical interfaces, or test instrumentation familiarity with IADS software.)

Experience working with weapon manufacturers and overseeing weapon integration with USG agencies.

Prior technical leadership experience

The candidate must be able to work independently and proficient in the loads process.

Good written and verbal skills are required.
