Lockheed Martin Mechanical Engineer/ Energy Engineer (Nashville, TN) in Nashville, Tennessee
Description: Lockheed Martin is seeking mechanical, electrical and/or energy engineers with knowledge of building and industrial plant systems and equipment, including (compressed air, pumps/motors, process equipment, HVAC, building controls, and plant electrical systems.)
-Candidate must be detail-oriented, have strong analytical skills and the capacity to handle multiple projects and roles.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
-Applying Measurement and Verification (M&V) procedures to energy projects, including the development and execution of IPMVP compliant M&V plans.
--Specifying and deploying field measurement equipment and instrumentation at industrial and commercial facilities
-Performing energy analysis to quantify energy data using various analytical methods and tools.
- Using statistical methods ( such as regression analysis) to organize and isolate energy data impacted by energy projects
-Performing pre- and post installation inspections.
-Reviewing third party energy calculations and studies
Project management duties to include
-Financial forecasting assistance, work flow management, status reporting, database management, and project file maintenance
Project engineer with background in compressed air, pumps/motors, HVAC, building controls, lighting, and industrial process equipment. Experience with electrical systems.
Professional Engineer (PE), CMVP and CEM Certification. Exposure to building modeling software or simulation tools such as eQuest, EnergyPro, Trace 700, HAP. Strong MS Excel skills. Engineering Degree
