Lockheed Martin F-22 Strategic Mission Planner in Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada

Description: Perform F-22 Mission Support System (MSS) mission planning & mission data duties for the 433rd Weapons Squadron (US Air Force Fighter Weapons School) at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. Operate and maintain F-22 MSS mission planning product suite. Provide support, assistance and guidance to Weapons School cadre and students in establishing and maintaining F-22 mission data sensor scenarios. Assist F-22 pilots with operational mission planning and post-mission debrief support. Interface daily with F-22 pilots and frequently with F-22 maintenance personnel. May be required to work flexible schedule of odd hours, nights or weekends in support of flying operations.

Duties may include providing operational test and evaluation support to the 422 Test and Evaluation Squadron. Duties also may include deploying to support other operational F-22 squadrons to augment mission planners at exercises or potential combat locations; therefore, this is a world-wide deployable position.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Desired Skills: Prior military fighter tactics, electronic warfare systems, or intelligence analyst experience. Prior experience with F-22 mission planning or F-22 avionics/sensors. Ability to effectively communicate (both verbal and written) and ability to work as part of a team. Experience with training or teaching. CompTIA Security + certification.


Current Top Secret clearance required.

Mission planning experience with aircraft or weapon systems OR experience with Linux, Unix, Solaris or Windows operating systems.

Experience with troubleshooting and diagnose computer hardware/software equipment.
