Lockheed Martin Manufacturing Supervisor - Ocala, FL in Ocala, Florida

Description: Ocala Operations is a multi-shift manufacturing facility that build circuit cards, wiring harnesses, and electro-mechanical assemblies. The facility currently has over 1200 employees and provides products to six Missiles and Fire Control sites. Ocala specializes in both low volume high mix and high volume production that has a combination of automated processes as well as labor intensive manufacturing. Ocala Operations has a represented manufacturing workforce that is supported by a strong engineering and operations support team.

Supervisor for manufacturing and test operators; responsible for driving/achieving quality, schedule and cost targets for multiple programs. Responsible for the daily activities of a specified group of production employees while ensuring that safety, cost, quality, and production standards are met. Must have good conflict resolution skills and the ability to build respectful working relationships. Motivational skills along with the ability to energize teams are considered a plus. Candidate should have some experience managing cost in a manufacturing organization. Additional responsibilities will include supporting the Manufacturing General Foreman. This position will be located at a facility that requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen.

Basic Qualifications:

Must have a Bachelor’s Degree

Possess a working knowledge for managing workmanship, time and attendance, enforcement of work rules, employee training certifications, and audit readiness.

Must have the ability to work 2nd shift

Experience working in a union environment

Prior LM manufacturing supervisor experience
