Lockheed Martin Kitting Supervisor in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Kitting Lead. Provide daily guidance to kitting team; Resource management/deployment of team members. Customer Contact and Subject Matter Expert (SME): Interacts with customer (ranging from mechanic level to Brig. Gen) on kitting need changes or issues; Interacts with material planners, demand planners and production planners to submit changes for kits; Interacts with Site/Deputy Lead to status kitting issues; Interacts with Warehouse manager – provides feedback on kitting personnel issues (performance, attendance, etc); Document department processes and train new team members. Materials Management: Perform audits and spot checks of outgoing kits; Monitor Kit Ops Summary report and ensure pending actions are cleared; Configuration Management of all kits; Coordinate requirement changes on BOM’s – adding new kits, revising or deleting kits; Oversees Warehouse layout to ensure adequate space when material is coming in; Training of the kitting team.

Basic Qualifications 4+ years combined experience in inventory management; supply chain; or equivalent warehouse related, with knowledge of building task oriented kits in support of production overhaul and repair operations Computer proficient with Microsoft Office Suite products Customer Service experience

Desired skills Supply Chain Management experience, preferably with DLA and/or USAF. Strong oral and written communication skills Experience working in a demanding, fast paced environment Experience interfacing directly with government customers Experience using SCM+ A good foundation of Microsoft Excel and Power Point applications Experience with Lean Concepts for production flow processes/ concepts
