Lockheed Martin F5 Engineer in Orlando, Florida

This position is for an Information Assurance Engineer Senior working for Lockheed Martin Enterprise Business Services (EBS), Corporate Information Security (CIS) – Secure External Access Services Team.

Sustaining Engineer and Security Analyst responsibilities: -Building, testing, deploying, analyzing, administering, and maintaining enterprise F5 Platforms with a focus on Reverse Proxy, Authentication, Monitoring, & Protection (RAMP) services -Configuring, conducting, and managing the F5 DNS, ASM, APM, and LTM modules - Develop and maintain customized F5 iRules and scripts -Technical testing of significant maintenance / operational / upgrade activities, and process enhancements/updates

A development/automation background, familiarity with networking, and knowledge of operating systems (OS) and web platforms will produce successful results in this role. Effective verbal and written communication skills and management of priorities and deliverables plus the ability to work within a team environment are expected. Heavy interaction with numerous business area/business unit representatives, adherence to the highest standards of ethics and professional conduct in addition to the ability to work flexible hours are expected.

Basic Qualifications • System administration experience with F5 Big-IP or other security infrastructure components. • Experience with automation using scripting languages (Python, Perl, Powershell, or similar) • Demonstrated effective oral and written communicator to both management and technical staff • Demonstrated team player with strong and effective customer care skills. • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance

Desired skills • Experience with F5 Big-IP DNS, Access Policy Manager (APM), Application Security Module (ASM), and Local Traffic Manager (LTM) including tmsh, writing/reading/modifying configurations, route domains, and vCMP on Viprion • Strong understanding of the HTTP protocol • Experience with developing, testing and maintaining REST based services and APIs • Experience with automation tools such as Puppet, Chef and Ansible • Familiar with DevOps agile methodologies and container technologies such as Docker • System administration experience with various web server technologies (IIS/Apache) and application server technologies (IIS/Apache Tomcat/Coldfusion) • Experience with deploying applications and infrastructure components in AWS • Development experience utilizing technologies such as: Java, .NET, PHP, RUBY, ColdFusion, HTML5, AJAX • Web service scanning/fuzzing experience • Certification credentials (CISSP, CISM, CEH, GIAC, or equivalent) • Information Security related background
