Perform product verification and inspections using a variety of techniques including visual examination and dimensional measurement. Performs these verifications to the requirements of specifications, procedures, drawings, work instructions, industry standards, or other contractually required documents.
Collaborates with various functions to ensure quality standards are in place and ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements.
Deficiency Analysis/Reporting, and other issues related to quality as they occur. Generate and prepare electronic documentation on nonconforming hardware requiring material review disposition approval.
Perform general and periodic surveillance of work and associated areas. Suggest improvement ideas to improve performance and methods.
Basic Knowledge in Microsoft Office
Knowledge in IPC-610(Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies)
Knowledge in IPC-620 (Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies)
Knowledge in J-STD-001(Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies)
Skills and abilities necessary to inspect various assemblies such as electrical/electronic, mechanical, instrumentation top assemblies, sub-assemblies, cables, harnesses, printed circuit boards, etc.
Ability to interpret drawings including parts list, schematic, running list, and interconnect diagrams, sketches, specifications and electronic manufacturing work instructions.
Non-conformance process experience and ability to generate and may assist in documentation for non-conformances requiring material review and disposition approval.
