Lockheed Martin Platform Automation and Development Engineer in Orlando, Florida

Description: The Platform Automation and Development Engineer shall provide support and development of web servers, application servers, and middleware services supported by the DCI Platform team. This position includes the helping to automate the provisioning and support of COTS products including, but not limited to, Splunk, Siteminder, Load Balancers, Docker, Websphere, Citrix and others. Duties may include provisioning and configuration of these applications, troubleshooting and timely update of incidents, participation in problem resolution, and implementation and timely completion of change requests. The position will be part of a small, motivated team of architects, engineers, and developers who are focused on the design, development, and management of these COTS products.

Preferred work locations for this position will be at the following Lockheed Martin facilities: Denver, CO; Fort Worth, TX; King of Prussia, PA; Aguadilla, PR. Other LM locations to be considered. Telecommuting to be considered.

US Citizen Required

Desired Skills: -Windows 2008/2012 knowledge

-Proven experience with cloud technologies

-Demonstrated experience with Splunk Enterprise

-UNIX/Linux knowledge

-Familiarity with Lockheed Martin EBS systems, processes and toolsets


Demonstrated automation experience using Perl, Python or other languages

Knowledge of SQL

Previous experience with collaborating with virtual teams

Effective problem solving skills demonstrated through related work experience

Ability to work flexible schedules (weekends, evenings, off shifts, on call) to support mission requirements

Demonstrated experience in the performance of all duties related to system administration, illustrated by related work experience

Emerging experience in more than two of the following technologies: MS Windows/IIS, Splunk, Docker, WebSphere, .NET, ASP, ColdFusion, Apache/Tomcat, SSL Certificates, SiteMinder, Weblogic, F5, CITRIX
