Lockheed Martin Project Engineer Sr in Orlando, Florida
Description: Selected candidate will work on the JSF ALIS program within the Sustainment organization supporting the ALIS Transition Team as a Release Change Manager. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for managing the release of ALIS Software and/or Hardware baselines to operational sites via the Change Request (CR) Approval Process. Overall duties include; creating Technical Information Packages, SW Build Plans (for LRIP and Flight Test), CRs, Mod Execution Plans, OTCTDs, FTROs, UFNs, COIs, facilitating site IRR meetings, tracking/statusing required release artifacts, supporting LM RMS and LM Aero approval boards, interfacing with the JPO customer, and working with ALIS leadership (Sustainment EPMs, Program Managers, Transition team leads, CAMs, etc) regarding SW/HW deployment plans/schedules, resources and cost estimates as needed.
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related masters degree. Strong Systems Engineering knowledge, Team Leadership, Full Spectrum Leadership, Sound Planning Skills, Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills.
M.S. or B.S. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology, combined with Systems and/or Software Engineering Experience.
Familiarity with the JSF ALIS program.
Understanding of the Lockheed Martin RMS/AERO Change Request Process.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities, while dealing with competing priorities in a fast paced environment.
