Description: Lockheed Martin's Missiles and Fire Control business is experiencing some substantial growth at our campus in sunny Orlando, FL. We are seeking a System Requirements Engineer to provide technical and requirements support for a Lockheed Martin (LM) development program.
Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is one of five Lockheed Martin business areas. MFC is a recognized designer, developer and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries. MFC develops, manufactures and supports advanced combat, missile, rocket, manned and unmanned systems for military customers that include the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, NASA and dozens of foreign allies. MFC also offers a wide range of products and services for the global civil nuclear power industry and the military’s green power initiatives. Program duties for this role include:
- Requirements development
- Specification generation and maintenance
- System integration support, formal subsystem and system
- Verification and Validation (V&V).
- Customer interaction will include participation in reviews, working groups, periodic telecoms and V&V and integration events.
DOORS experience is required and must possess a Secret clearance (or higher) and a current 5-year background check.

West Palm Beach is about 2.5 hours to the south and Jacksonville is about 2 hours to the northeast. Atlanta, GA is 6 hours to the northwest.
Perform requirements definition of achievable design characteristics for an objective system.
Synthesize design characteristics into an implemental system architecture.
Flow system level requirements to testable structures and modular hardware and software using DOORS.
Perform trade studies and Risk and Opportunity Management analyses.
Define and track Technical Performance Measures (TPM's).
Perform detail system verification activities including definition of verification methodology.
Conduct a thorough functional configuration audit with verification evidence provided.
Candidate must possess a Secret clearance (or higher) and a current 5-year background check.
