Description: -Mechanical Engineer responsible for supporting conceptual and detail design of advanced hardware through the full product life cycle via dynamics and structural analysis
-Work collaboratively with individuals from complementary disciplines within the Engineering, Manufacturing and Sub-Contracts organizations.
-Apply research to the planning, design, development, and testing of new aerospace and related products.
-Work with little direction and develop advanced technical principles, techniques and concepts.
-Proficient in dynamic/structural analysis, finite element analysis, structural/vibration testing, and test correlation.
-Requires knowledge of related application software such as ANSA, Nastran, Abaqus, NX, FEMAP, Patran, and HyperMesh.
-Communicate technical status and issues to internal and external program and functional leadership.
-Occasional travel to provide on-site support at customer and suppliers locations.
-Relocation assistance is possible for this exciting position.

Candidate MUST currently hold an Active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university (preferably in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering).
Candidate must have at least 2 years of professional experience, preferably working specifically in a Mechanical Engineering role focused on Dynamics/ Structural analysis.
Professional, hands-on experience providing dynamics analysis support for product design.
Candidate must have working knowledge with one or the following:
Knowledge of and modeling experience with related application software such as ANSA, Nastran, Abaqus, NX, FEMAP, Patran, and/or HyperMesh.
Ability to work with little direction and develop advanced technical principles, techniques and concepts.
Experience in hardware design and development.
Demonstrated strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Excellent English writing and verbal communication skills for generating test plans, test reports, documentation, and potentially proposals are necessary.
Mature computer skills are required, including proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
