Great opportunity to develop and maintain embedded software applications and/or desktop applications for Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) products. We are looking for a software engineer with experience in C/C++ and Linux operating systems. Tasks involve requirement, design, code, test, and integrate software for an embedded multi-core system as well as desktop computer applications for emulation of sensors and countermeasures. Prior experience in GUI development is a plus to develop a user and data display interface. Candidate will apply appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle.

Candidate will be responsible for working within a software development team to maintain existing code and design while implementing new/modified software requirements for the JASSM (Joint Air-to-Surface Stand-off Missile) PTM (Precision Targeting Module) application. PTM is an existing product in operational use in Air Force facilities providing the capability for the user to create stereo target scene models for use in JASSM Mission Planning activities. Candidate must be able to independently succeed within an integrated product team and while adhering to adopted software development processes and procedures.

Desired Skills: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.

Experience generating and maintaining program software documentation

Experience with software configuration management

Experience w/ both Windows Visual Studio & Linux based C/C++development

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with Visual Studio C# and ASP.NET programming for Windows applications

Experience with Visual Studio development tools

Experience in all phases of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)

Excellent communication skills.
