Lockheed Martin Software Engineer - Orlando - Real-Time, C++, Active Secret Clearance Required in Orlando, Florida

Description: Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is a recognized designer, developer and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries. This is Lockheed Martin’s lead business unit for research development and production of manned and unmanned ground-vehicle systems, electro-optical and smart munitions systems and is a pioneer in the field of versatile, high-performance missile and rocket technology.

This position will design, develop, test, and verify F-35 EOTS Modeling and Simulation software for integration test platforms.

Responsibilities include adapting the EOTS Operational Flight Program software into a simulation environment to provide a high level of fidelity. Also included is the development of formal documentation in support of the Modeling and Simulation system.

The candidate will take responsibility for a required capability while developing the software and documentation throughout the entire lifecycle. Also, the candidate will interact with the F-35 Modeling & Simulation and Flight simulator customers for supporting implementation and integration in a wide range of test environments.

Basic Qualifications:

- Experience with real-time C/C++ development is required.

- Strong troubleshooting skills

- Linux OS

- Excellent communication skills.

- Active Secret Clearance Required

-Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline

Desired Skills:

- Experience with Integration and Test

- Experience generating and maintaining program software documentation

- Experience with software modeling and simulation
