As a System Engineering Manager on the F-35 Training System, this individual will lead a diverse group of employees to deliver one of the most advanced training systems supporting both domestic and international customers.

A systems engineering manager has a dual role. As a manager, this individual be responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. They will also have a program direct role where they will be responsible for technical planning, system design, architecture analysis, system requirement decomposition, system and subsystem behavior analysis, subsystem integration (both software and hardware) and system/subsystem test. They will be responsible for ensuring the system engineering products developed by the team are rigorously developed and ready for implementation; ensuring the projects are completed on-plan and reviewed for overall quality and development efficiency. This position will have an emphasis on Network, Computer Infrastructure, and System Behavior Engineering.

Basic Qualifications:

Individuals considered for this position will have demonstrated experience in the following areas:

Application of System Design and Decomposition to computer network infrastructures

Application of System Behavior Analysis to computer network infrastructures

Requirement Generation (System A-Spec to C-Spec)

Computer & Network Infrastructure Design & Development

Planning & Development Program Execution Leadership

Resolving technical challenges requiring integration with cross-functional teams

Generating Basis-Of Estimates (BOEs) and providing proposal support

Experience with customer Program Reviews and technical design reviews; PRs, SRRs, PDRs, and CDRs

Desired Skills:

Individuals considered for this position may have experience in one or more of the following areas:

Subsystem Integration (Software-to-Software and/or Hardware-to-Software)

System Integration & Test

Experience with Weapon System specifications and the flow-down of customer and system-to-subsystem requirements

Simulation Environment Design & Development

Risk Management Framework, Information Assurance, and/or Security Engineering Background

Model Base Engineering Experience

Agile Development Experience

High level of accountability and a proven track record of meeting commitments

Risk Management principles and Cost Savings initiatives

Cost Account Management (CAM) Certification

9+ years technical systems engineering experience or demonstrated equivalent job experience with a Bachelors degree, or 7 years technical systems engineering experience or demonstrated equivalent job experience with a Masters degree
