Lockheed Martin System Integration and Test (I&T) Lead Engineer, Orlando FL in Orlando, Florida

Description: Lockheed Martin is seeking a System Test Lead to define program test requirements, perform system design and performance verification planning, and manage all program related system test activities. This will require interface with the customer for definition and definitization of test plans and objectives.

The System Test Lead will also work hand-in-hand with the requirements team through requirements development, Interface definition, and missile/sensor architecture definition. The System Test Lead will also be an active part of all technical discussions, negotiations, and "tailored" PDR and CDR at both Sensor and Missile Level.

This system test initiative includes:

- Generation of HWIL requirements and HWIL planning,

- Thermal Battery qualification,

- EMI testing,

- Design Verification Testing,

- Radar/Radome Characterization and Integration,

- Captive Carriage ground and flight testing,

- Multiple levels of flight testing with increasing sensor terminal phase ownership,

- Protype demonstration testing at government test ranges.

Experience with test coordination at one or more government test ranges such as WSMR and/or Point Magu is preferred.

Data capture plans, test execution participation, and definition of support hardware and software will be required for all tests.

Desired Skills: The following are desired skills and capabilities for Systems Integration and Test (I&T) assignments:

Demonstrate knowledge of subsystem HW/SW capabilities, sensor capability, emitter capability, and permissions for their use.

Design a system verification process that is performed to well-constructed I&T Plans derived from DOORS requirements.

Assure that system built-in performance has been achieved from the lowest level modules to the final assembled system.

Demonstrate the ability to operate comfortably with software engineers, designers, and production personnel.

Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot problems and coordinate other integration participants for I&T program efficiency.

Deliver effective Customer presentations that include performance results, schedule status, and corrective action details.

Demonstrate awareness of test equipment management including function, calibration and security requirements.

Verify that test data is recorded and cataloged appropriately.

Generate concise but thorough test reports purpose-built for use in functional configuration audits and related V&V events.


Candidate must demonstrate the ability to perform the following System Integration and Test (I&T) assignments:

Verify that integrated HW and SW modules can achieve the overall physical, functional and performance objectives.

Verify that system interfaces are compliant to associated ICD's.

Interface with suppliers to assure that their components are properly validated prior to delivery.

Manage security issues including protection of classified hardware and software, and software loading requirements.

Ability to obtain a security clearance and considered a US Citizen.
