This position is for an Systems Engineer supporting the F-35 Training Systems program.
The systems engineer will be responsible for impact analysis, design, integration and unit test of system modifications of varying degrees of complexity. The system engineer will also be expected to open problem reports (PPRs), create and/or update system documentation and conduct peer reviews of documentation changes.
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related discipline. Minimum of two years of experience in a Systems Engineering role. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple time critical assignments is a must.
Hands-on experience with Windows Servers and workstations is a must.
Experienced with the Systems Engineering lifecycle strongly desired.
Experience with Information Technology, network design, system administration, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure and Network Virtualization are all pluses.
Must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
The following skills are desired but not required:
- Hands-on experience with VMware ESX, vSphere, vCenter, Horizon View and NSX a definite plus
- Hands-on experience administering network switches, firewalls and routers
- Experience administering Oracle and MS SQL databases
- Experience performing system hardening in compliance with DISA STIGs
- CompTIA Security+ certification a plus.
